Baking a cake on a budget

it's a well known fact that baking is an expensive hobby, but I t doesn't have to be so today is I'll be guiding you on a step by step procedure on trying out your first cakeThe first step is to gather your ingredients. You'll need flour, sugar, eggs, milk, baking powder, salt, vanilla extract, and oil. All of these items can be found at your local grocery store and are relatively inexpensive. Plus, you can use many of them in other recipes, so they're a good investment for your kitchen.

. Now, let's move on to the equipment you'll need. You'll need a mixing bowl, measuring cups and spoons, a whisk or electric mixer, a cake pan, and an oven. Now ,must of us don't have ovens in our homes and that's okay so we could easily substitute our cooking pots and local cooking gas for it

Most of these items can be found at a thrift store or dollar store, and they'll last for years. So, even though you're baking on a budget, you won't need to sacrifice quality. Ready for the next step?

Great! The next step is to preheat your oven. Set it to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and let it heat up while you're mixing your ingredients. While the oven is preheating, let's move on to making the cake batter. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Then, add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix everything together. Once the batter is smooth, pour it into your cake pan and bake it for 30-35 minutes. While the cake is baking, you can start planning your decorations. What kind of decorations are you thinking of?

Yum! Buttercream icing is a classic choice and it's surprisingly easy to make. You'll need softened butter, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and food coloring (if desired). Once your cake is cooled, you can start making the icing. Just combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat them until they're smooth. Then, spread the icing on the cake and you're all set! What colour of icing are you thinking of?
